I've always been passionate about the visual arts, both in film and photography, but there is something so moving and so challenging about capturing and freezing a moment in time.

Few things are more rewarding to me than building an image which successfully communicates a mood and stirs emotions within the viewer through its composition, lighting, pose, expressions and interactions between subjects.

Karsh, Herb Ritts and Annie Liebowitz are 3 of the well known photographers whose work I admire. They reveal nuances of character and a hidden quality in their subjects which alter our perceptions and challenge conclusions we may have prematurely drawn about well known personalities.

This is what I strive to achieve in my work as well.
